Development House, an NGO supporting civil society with new media training and consultations in Sana'a, Yemen, has been a dedicated screening partner over the last year. They have just hosted two more screenings on 16 and 17 January 2012 as part of two weeks training about Social Media for youth.
Due to the current situation in Yemen and as an overall reflection of the MENA region, the Development House hosted a screening of the film in Sana’a, Yemen. The aim of this event was to introduce the social media tactics in advocacy along with the 10 Tactics and other activists experience and encourage youth activists to use social media in their campaigns.

The 2011 'Tuning in to Diversity' event, held at the Haag, is one of a series of meetings and workshops facilitated by Mira Media and partners that are designed to support more diversity and ethnic media pluralism in the European Union (EU). This year's event included more than 100 participants from across the EU and it was focused on social media: how can it be used to support media diversity and plurality; and what trends, opportunities and risks are emerging from its uses among intercultural organisations?

On the 13th April tacticaltech helped deliver an afternoon workshop at the CAFOD (cafod.org.uk) offices for members of Bond (http://www.bond.org.uk/), a UK membership body for non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working in international development. Training with Water Advocates in Jordan: Just before the end of the year Marek and Steph, with help from Ramsey and Hadi, gave a 2-day training on visualisation techniques for water advocacy in Jordan. The 10 Tactics film was also screened. The event was organised by the group EcoDit.

QAHC (Queensland Association for Health Communities) promotes the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Queenslanders. 10 Tactics was screened as part of an info-activism workshop and was attended by Tanya Notley from Tactical Tech.
Tactical Tech is participating in the 14th International Anti-Corruption conference which brings nearly 2000 heads of state, and actors in civil society and the private sector together to tackle the challenges of corruption worldwide.
The screening was organised by 7iber.com, an independent Jordanian based media outlet, and attended by 30 national NGO workers. A discussion followed the screening about presenting visual information in campaigns, how surveillance in Jordan affects this kind of campaign and the meaning of digital activism.
One participant said,
"I loved it, it really helps to realise the importance of presenting information and how to ensure the security of those providing the information."
IREX Iraq and the Institute for War and Peace Reporting screened 10 Tactics on the second day of their Citizen Journalism conference on Emerging Technologies/ Emerging Democracies: Information Technology and Goverance in Iraq.
This screening was in collaboration with SEMAT and attended by a group of young directors. A discussion followed the screening about the role of creativity in devising technical tools presented in Ten Tactics.
Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) conducted training for 25 participants from 9
different countries across the Asia Pacific Region, particularly targeting rural, indigenous women. Participants had
existing knowledge of concepts of human rights and human rights defenders but this training focused on new ways to document violations and new tactics for advocacy.
The film was screened, with Russian subtitles, as part of the annual conference of the Human Rights House Network with partners in the South Caucasus, Baltic and post Soviet states. Also in attendance were representatives of the Helsinki Centre, the Norwegian Embassy, independent civil society and media activists from the region, and international human rights defenders.
Social Innovation Camp is about solving social challenges in new ways - by bringing together ideas and digital tools to create web-based innovations in just 48 hours. This Social Innovation Camp gathered participants from different professions - designers, social entrepreneurs, web developers, marketing, legal, advertising, social needs experts and other specialists from Baku and regions of Azerbaijan to work on an idea of a potential social start-up that can make a change and compete for a prize.
