Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) conducted training for 25 participants from 9
different countries across the Asia Pacific Region, particularly targeting rural, indigenous women. Participants had
existing knowledge of concepts of human rights and human rights defenders but this training focused on new ways to document violations and new tactics for advocacy.
